PizzaExpress has a great time each year going ‘Pink’ in October to raise awareness for breast cancer.
For each order of the Funghi Pizza we will donate $8 to Hong Kong Cancer Fund.
Operating from Hong Kong, the Chi Heng Foundation supports AIDS-impacted children across China, helping them complete their education and supporting their placement into homes locally and with relatives, rather than orphanages.
For each sale of the specially crafted Peking Duck pizza, we will donate $8 to the Chi Heng Foundation.
This Hong Kong-based charity is on a mission to promote environmental sustainability in Asia’s fashion industry by reducing textile waste, pollution, water and energy consumption.
For each purchase of the Quattro Formaggi we will donate $8 to Redress.
Child Welfare Scheme provides protection, education, healthcare and opportunities to disadvantaged children and their families in Nepal.
For every Piccolo children’s meal sold at PizzaExpress we donate $1 to this Hong Kong registered charity.
We aim to keep our waste to an absolute minimum, but as our dough is baked fresh each and every day, we sometimes have dough left over at the end of the evening. This is baked into flatbreads, frozen, and collected by Feeding Hong Kong who redistribute the breads through their extensive network of Hong Kong charities, to help provide a meal for those in need.
We are delighted to support many other charities around Hong Kong, including:
Our caring doesn’t stop there! We also care for the amazing staff that we are proud to employ at PizzaExpress:
- We are one of the few F&B establishments in Hong Kong that offer staff a five day working week, rather than the normal six days.
- Every single member of staff is awarded with medical and dental insurance.
- Training programmes and subsidies are in place to provide all our staff with the opportunity to progress.
- Every year, each of our employees is given the opportunity to volunteer for one of the fantastic charities that we support through our Give Back Day programme.
