3. Make a tentative booking
   Respond to our email and confirm your wish to proceed within 7 days. We will assume that you will not be proceeding any further if we do not receive any confirmation.

4. Site visit
   Visit your chosen venue and meet our party organiser in person to discuss F&B arrangements, decorations, and other details for the day.

5. Pay deposit
   You can pay the required deposit by Cash, Visa/Mastercard, American Express or Union Pay.
   
   Hurray your party’s now confirmed!

WHAT DO THE KIDS DO DURING THE PARTY (RUNDOWN)?

An experienced party leader will guide the children to make their own pizza by learning how to skilfully spread the San Marzano tomato sauce and put their own chosen toppings onto the pizza dough. At the end of the party, the children may bring their hand crafted pizzas home to share with the family.

IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT FOR JOINING THE PARTY?

Children from age 4-9 are most enjoyed with our pizza making party. Children aged 3 must be accompanied by an adult for the pizza making.

HOW LONG DOES A PARTY LAST?

A party will last for 2 hours – our parties run from 15:30 to 17:30.

WHERE CAN I HOST A PARTY?

You can choose from our 16 restaurants located in Kowloon, New Territories and outlying islands or on Hong Kong Island. Please refer to our website for restaurant details.

HOW EARLY SHOULD I ARRIVE PRIOR TO MY PARTY?

We advise you arrive no earlier than 10 to 15 minutes before the Party is scheduled to begin.  We would love to have you sooner, but we also need all of our preparation time uninterrupted to set up for your Party.  Up until then our staff will be busy tidying up, moving tables and generally making sure the area is ready and safe to accommodate you and your guests.  Your cooperation and understanding is much appreciated.

WHAT IF I WANT TO STAY LONGER THAN TWO HOURS?

Unless you have notified us beforehand and booked out the restaurant for longer when the booking is made, we do need to enforce a strict policy of ending on time. We like to keep things fair and this ensures that we honour and respect the promises we’ve made to other customers arriving after you.  If your party is delayed beyond the agreed Party end time, extra charges of $1,000 for every 30 minutes will be applied.  We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

CAN ADULTS ATTEND THE PARTY TOO?

Of course! Adults may accompany kids to the Party.  We have a minimum spending requirement varies among restaurant venues. There is no extra charge for being present and supervising.

HOW MANY GUESTS MAY I INVITE (MAXIMUM CAPACITY)?

This depends on the Party Area, which varies by restaurant and is also stated on our website. Ideally though, and on average, 20 people are a good size.

While we love to throw big parties (the more the merrier, right?), we also take fire and safety regulations seriously. The maximum capacity per restaurant is there to help us maintain a hazard-free zone. We take this seriously and therefore reserve the right to limit the number of guests and/or refuse extra guests if the number of people present in the designated Party Area has reached full capacity.

Please note: No refunds will be made and we cannot be held responsible for cancellation of your booking or non-acceptance of your Party if the terms above have been breached. For avoidance of doubt, we recommend you to provide us with a final number of guests before the Party begins.

HOW MANY PIZZAEXPRESS STAFF WILL THERE BE?

Two staff will be helping at the Party – one experienced party leader and a server. Our party leader will guide the children through the pizza making process and our server will provide support for the kids during the pizza making process, as well as serve drinks to the kids while their pizzas are in the oven.

IS THERE A MINIMUM-SPEND REQUIREMENT?

Minimum spend varies by restaurant depending on the date, time and location. Please contact us by filling in the Enquiry Form for more details.

HOW DOES THE MINIMUM SPEND REQUIREMENT WORK?

HERE IS A QUICK EXAMPLE:

Minimum Spend: $8,000(10% service charge inclusive)

Number of Children: 20

$268 x 20 children = $5,360+ 10% service charge = $5,896

$8,000 – $5,896= $2,104

You can spend the amount of $2,104 on ordering additional food and drinks from our dine-in menu to meet the minimum spend.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

Cancellation by the Client –

We understand things can happen. If you need to cancel your event for any reasons, please notify us at least 7 days in advance by emailing events@pizzaexpress.hk and we will refund you the full deposit amount in the form of the original payment.

In case of severe weather conditions (i.e. Black Rainstorm Signal and/or Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above is still hoisted 2 hours before your party, we will do our best to reschedule your event.

Cancellation by PizzaExpress (Hong Kong) Limited –

We pride ourselves on the most reliable service. However, PizzaExpress (Hong Kong) Limited reserves the right to cancel the booking in case of unforeseen circumstances and upon such cancellation PizzaExpress (Hong Kong) Limited will offer you the option of re-scheduling or refund to you your deposit in respect of the booking but PizzaExpress (Hong Kong) Limited shall not be liable to pay any compensation whatsoever to the Client or any other person for any loss, damage or expenditure arising directly or indirectly from the cancellation.

IS THERE ANY WAY TO GET A DISCOUNT ON A PARTY?

We do not offer discounts for Pizza Making Parties. Nevertheless, you will be eligible to earn Dough when you book a Pizza Making Party or Pizza Jams at one of our restaurants, just show us your E-Card at the time of payment.

CAN I BRING MY OWN CAKE?

Yes – the cake cutting fee is HKD$180 per cake. We would recommend you to order our yummy 8” Chocolate Fudge Cake, which serves about 16 children (HK$380).

CAN I BRING OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINKS?

Only cake and wine are allowed (cakeage and corkage fee* apply). No other outside food or drink should be brought into the restaurant.

*$180 per each cake or each bottle of wine.

DO YOU HAVE PARTY DECORATIONS? CAN I BRING MY OWN?

We offer PizzaExpress branded colour helium balloons and a generic “Happy Birthday” banner.

You are welcome to bring in your own decorations if you would like something different as long as they do not need to be hung from our walls. Please let our Party Organizer know in advance so that we may work with you to make your child’s experience special.

Confetti, silly string, piñata and noise-making devices (e.g. horns, whistles) are not allowed.

Please note: We reserve the right to prohibit certain decorations for fire, safety, health and environmental concerns.

HOW MUCH TIME WILL I HAVE TO DECORATE BEFORE THE PARTY?

You are allotted 10 to 15 minutes prior to your Party starting time for decorating and set up.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY GUESTS ARRIVE LATE?

Due to time constrains, we will have to start the Party on time, so please tell your guests to come punctually. If your guests are really late for the Party, they may join the group at any time but we will not start the pizza making process again.

CAN I MAKE ANY SPECIAL REQUESTS?

We will try our best to help you throw a perfect party, but we would also reserve the right to reject any special requests, especially those related to changes in features of our Party packages. We will not provide refunds or substitutions on all entitlements, privileges and special discounts.

ARE THERE ANY ACTIVITIES FOR THE KIDS?

Kids will be making pizzas and cutting cake, it’s the focus of the party – at the end of these activities, there will not be much time left.
